“...but be gentle unto all men... 2 Timothy 2:24 KJV
Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with The Fruit of the Spirit and planting Gentleness in our divine garden today. The Fruit of Gentleness is one of the keys to our daily living. Well really all of the Fruits are. Our passage today speaks to being Gentle to all men. Let’s break it down! All men includes being Gentle with ourselves first. At the start of our day we must practice the Presence. “In daily meditation lies the secret of power. No one can grow in either spiritual knowledge or power without it. Practice the Presence of God just as you would Music.” (Lessons in Truth). “Come ye yourselves apart...and rest a while”. Mark 6:31. Daily meditation is the secret to all of the Fruits. Come away from the chaos and noise of the outside world and rest. It’s difficult to be Gentle if you’re feeling agitated and stressed. If you think you have no time, make time. 15 minutes of quiet can work wonders. Don’t take your problems into your quiet time. Take a scripture or positive affirmation. For example “The Father and I are one” or “I am kept in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on Thee” or “Thy gentleness hath made me great” 2Samuel 2:36. “We go apart and come forth into the world...with new inspiration and increased courage and power for activity and overcoming.” (Lessons in Truth). The quiet calms us and helps us to be Gentle with ourselves and others. Practicing the Presence is the way. Let’s walk in it so that we can be Gentle, free from harshness, sternness or violence. Divine Ones, allow the Gentleness of Spirit to make you great. Allow the Gentleness of Spirit to make you Gentle with all men, including yourself. Do this and watch... what... happens! More tomorrow! 💖💖💖
