Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 2nd Beatitude from The Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4. Our passage says it is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom. Let’s break it down! We have established that God’s Will for us is “always perfection and all good. God does not will suffering or imperfection of any kind.” Period! We mourn when we forget and declare differently. You know “God is punishing me” or “God is testing me”, or “God is chastising me”. Really?! Be careful what you declare. “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee...” Job 22:28. God’s will for us is good and good only. God is the same always! God does not change! If God were as fickle as man, we would all be in a world of trouble. When we think in this way we cause ourselves distress, misfortunes, difficulties and find ourselves in mourning. Things don’t work out. We don’t feel a zest for life. Something’s always wrong. Well, I hate to be the one to tell you but, that is not God’s fault. We have the power of choice, of free-will. We have the power to change and experience God’s Will for us. How do we change? First, we pray and meditate daily. We use our tools of denials and affirmations to cleanse our minds of the belief that God wills both good and evil. Then we affirm the Truth, “... it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”. We remember that we are made in the image and likeness of an invisible, invincible God! All that is true of God is true of us! We don’t have to mourn. But, if we do we can turn, pray, and be comforted. Divine Ones, remember it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Divine Ones God’s will for us is good, ALWAYS. REMEMBER this and be comforted. Divine Ones, as we do this we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! 💙🧡❤️
