Love Mercy...

Updated: Oct 22, 2019

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” Matthew 5:7 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are starting on the 5th Beatitude, “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” Let’s break it down! Mercy is defined as “Christlike treatment toward the suffering. The important point in desiring to be merciful is righteous adjustment as this results in true overcoming.” (Revealing Word). Righteousness is “right-thinking in all departments of life.” (The Sermon on the Mount). “The thing that matters is that you be merciful in your thought. We cannot pair kind actions with thoughts that are not kind. We must be merciful in our mental judgments of our brothers. Because in deed and Truth we are all one...parts of the whole (God). You will ultimately receive the treatment that you give to others.” (The Sermon on the Mount). We also should be kind in our mental judgments of ourselves as well. So let’s look at this...Of course, there will certainly be times when others are not merciful in their actions towards us. When this happens it can make us want to go THERE. We now know that it is not what others do or say that counts, it is our reaction to what they do or say that counts. Realize that all of our thoughts have a direct effect on our life, world, and affairs. If we want to receive mercy we must be merciful. In order to become merciful, we must adjust our thoughts to mercy and overcome the temptation to go THERE. Spiritual Overcoming is “dealing with the problems of life in spiritual understanding and demonstrating over error through the keeping of spiritual laws.” (Revealing Word). Divine Ones as we are merciful to others we shall receive mercy. Righteously adjust your thinking and allow yourself to be merciful. Divine Ones do this and...watch... what... happens! More tomorrow! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
