Change Takes Strength and Courage

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” JOSHUA 1:9 AMP

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 4th Beatitude, “Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6. Our passage today speaks of being strong and courageous. Let’s break it down! Courage is “A spiritual quality that enables one to remain poised and centered in God amidst great difficulties...” (Revealing Word). Strength is “the energy of God. Freedom from weakness; stability of character; power to withstand temptation; capacity to accomplish. All strength originates in Spirit.” (Revealing Word). It takes both courage and strength to affect change. First, we decide to change and then we begin the work of change. To change means to “make different; to give a different course or direction...” (Webster’s). If the course we are on is not working for us; if the direction we are going in is not bringing the results that we want; then a change is required. If you want to experience something different, do something different. Nothing changes if nothing changes. “Like begets like, is another way of stating the Great Law, which means that as a man soweth in his unseen thoughts, so shall he reap in that which is seen.” (The Sermon on the Mount). Do you hunger and thirst after righteousness? Do you want to be filled? Then change course. It takes courage to change. It takes strength to stay the course. Begin the day with prayer and meditation. Practice the Presence. Use your tools of denials and affirmations to remove any belief that says that you cannot experience change. You have the power. You have dominion, supreme authority. You have the capacity. You have what it takes. “Have I not commanded you...be strong and courageous. Be not dismayed...for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Divine Ones realize this...think on this and watch... what... happens! More tomorrow! 🧡❤️🧡❤️
