Committing Adultery...

“Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Exodus 20:14 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! Today we are working with the 7th Commandment, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Let’s start to break it down! “The word adultery is made up of the word ad, meaning “to add” … and the word ulter, meaning “other.” It means “to add other” or to dilute by adding something else to a substance. On the surface, you would think that this is speaking of sex outside of marriage but there is a much deeper meaning. The act of Adultery involves weakening or adulteration of one’s own self-worth.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). Deep right!! From a spiritual perspective, this means adding something to or diluting the Truth of who we really are. Not living from the Truth of our being. Not seeing that we are already the awesomeness of God. We are already the power of God. We are already the love of God. The problem is the ‘adding of something else’. (Two-ness). We need to recognize our Oneness (1st Commandment) with the ONE. We must work to see from single ONE eye vision of Matthew 6:22 “The light of the body is the eye; if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Single eye focus on THE ONE! Singleness not two-ness or God and. “Whenever we “see” less than the Christ in ourselves and others we are committing adultery. (When we) fail to see the ALLNESS of God, to know that the Lord is ONE, we break the FIRST as well as the seventh commandment. The commandment could actually read ‘You shall not adulterate reality by judging by appearances, thus adding on something other than the Truth.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” John 7:24 KJV. Divine Ones, what are you seeing? What are you adding to the Truth or diluting? Go back to the 1st Commandment “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:2-3 KJV. As we do this, we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
