Meditation...Let's Begin

Updated: Jul 15, 2018

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God...” PSALM 46:10 AMP

Good morning Divine Ones! Did you take the time to be still yesterday? Did you practice for the full five minutes or just a couple? How did you feel afterwards? If you did not practice the Presence yesterday, do it today. You may not feel differently after your first time or after the tenth time. Practicing is the key. Eventually you will feel a difference in your attitude and in how you respond to people and situations. Just focus on breathing in and breathing out. Sometimes we need to stop the world and get off., take time to energize ourselves for there is power in silence, in stillness. We need to go into our inner chamber and be still. We need to stop the noise and the chatter. That is what prayer and meditation help us to do. Sometimes we may feel anxious or worried.

“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything (every circumstance and situation) by prayer...continue to make your specific requests known to God. And the peace of God (that peace that reassures the heart, that peace) which surpasses all (human) understanding...is yours...” Philippians 4:7 AMP.

In a previous lesson we said that serenity should be our aim, a state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled. During the course of your day, you may find it helpful to remind yourself that you have the power to be calm and peaceful. If you are not in this state, just repeat that you are. Fake it until you make it, until you feel it, until you think it more. I am peaceful, calm and untroubled. I am serene. Just like learning to focus on your breathing it takes practice. The more you do it the easier it becomes. We planted peace in our garden of Fruits. Feeling peaceful can lead to a feeling of serenity. In your prayer and meditation time you are “establishing conscious communion with God. As stated yesterday, the first step is to relax. Let go of all mental and physical stress. You can sit quietly and tell each part of your body to relax, from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. Breathing in and out. You can do this before your quiet time. Do this and watch-what-happens!

All right now Divine Ones! Say it with me! I am peaceful, calm and untroubled. I practice prayer and meditation daily. I am calm, peaceful, untroubled and serene. As I practice this I AM SAVED FROM MYSELF! More tomorrow! 💗💜💗💜

“And the peace of God (that peace that reassures the heart, that peace which surpasses all (human) understanding...is yours...” Philippians 4:7 AMP
