“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” John 20:29 KJV
Good morning Divine Ones! This morning we are beginning a new series on our twelve powers or faculties that are within our consciousness. How do we develop them? Let’s break it down. We take control of these powers through exercising the Will. “The Will is the executive power of the mind. What man wills comes to pass in his experience. “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee.” Job 22:28.”
There are two ways to develop our powers or faculties. One way is through trial and error. Another way is by the power of the Word.” (Revealing Word). Our work is to expand these powers or faculties so that they can work in harmony with each other. Similar to working with the Fruits. The first faculty we will be working with is Faith. Faith is defined as “the perceiving power of the mind linked with the ability to shape substance... it is spiritual assurance...a magnetic power that draws unto us our heart’s desires.” (Revealing Word).
Faith is our ability to say yes to God. Faith is our ability to draw our desires from the invisible substance into the visible world. “To help us to understand the purpose and function of Faith we must understand the nature of God. God is all of our good, the source of everything we need spiritually and materially.” (How to Use Your Twelve Gifts). We cannot see God, Spirit is not visible. In the invisible our good is only a possibility and not yet part of our experience. We want to experience our good so we must activate and develop our power or faculty of Faith.
Tomorrow we will talk about the two types of Faith. All right Divine Ones! We are developing our Faith faculty. As we do this we are SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow!
