Fruitful Living

“...Thus says the LORD, ‘Make this valley (the Arabah) full of trenches.’...suddenly water came [miraculously] and the country was filled with water.” 2 KINGS 3:16, 20 AMP

Good morning Divine Ones! We are starting a new topic on “The Fruit of the Spirit”. Before we do I think we need to take some time to prepare. Our passage today speaks of preparation. Water was needed and the Lord said to dig trenches in preparation to receive the water. No water in sight, but get ready. So let us prepare our minds to receive the planting of the “Fruits”. Our minds can be likened to a garden. Land in the Bible represents “consciousness unfolding at various levels; various stages of awareness..” (The Hidden Mystery of the Bible). What we plant grows in our experiences. Just as farmers and gardeners prepare the soil before planting a crop, we must prepare our land, our consciousness before planting the “Fruits”. There can be weeds in a physical garden and before planting and while the crop is growing, they must be removed. The same is true of the garden of our minds. What weeds you say? The weeds of fear, doubt, limiting thoughts, anger, hatred, etc. These weeds can limit the amount of nutrients, water and fertilizer that the crop receives. When that happens the garden is not as healthy as it could be. So we must prepare our land, our consciousness for planting. We have worked with prayer and meditation, practicing the Presence. Now let’s examine our land today and begin to remove any weeds we may find. Prepare for a new crop. Divine Ones dig trenches in preparation for water. Let’s break out the gardening tools and get ready for planting. Are you ready? Prepare! Prepare! Prepare! More tomorrow!! 💖💕💖
