Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the Fruit of the Spirit and planting Temperance in our divine garden today. Our passage speaks to guarding our hearts. Remember that in the Bible the heart represents the subconscious mind which is the storehouse of our memories and past experiences. We don’t know all that is stored in our subconscious mind but, we do get a glimpse when things happen. We are bombarded at every turn by information. TV, newspapers, radio are on a 24-hour cycle nowadays and you can get news at any time. This news is usually not good news and we make judgments about what we hear and what we see. The subconscious mind does not reason, it takes what you give it, period. So what are you giving it? Random stories, bad news or Truth? “The work of overcoming is carried on largely in the subconscious mind. All past thinking must be redeemed and the whole man, conscious and subconscious, brought into the harmony of the Christ consciousness.” (Revealing Word). The conscious mind takes it in. The subconscious mind remembers. Put a guard at the door, through prayer, meditation and the Silence. If you do not then you’re not in control of what goes in or of what comes out. You could see something that triggers a memory and then Temperance flies right out the window. Use your tools of denials and affirmations to cleanse your mind of negative and false beliefs and then replace with the Truth. “I am made in the image and after the likeness of an invisible, invincible God. All that is true of God is already true of me. I replace negative thoughts with positive ones. By doing this I am practicing self control, practicing Temperance. For this I am truly grateful.” Divine Ones practice Temperance today. Become aware of what’s going in and what’s coming out. Bring the whole man into the harmony of the Christ consciousness, the real of us. Divine Ones as we do this... we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! ❤️💖🧡💙
