I have surely seen ...

“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 9th Beatitude as stated above. Let’s break it down! Let us first say, again, that this Beatitude seems to go against everything we have been discussing but, it does not. “The Will of God for us is harmony, peace, and joy...these things are to be obtained by cultivating right thoughts or righteousness.” (The Sermon on the Mount). If we are not cultivating the right thoughts it may be because our attention is focused on our outer experiences. To revile is “to subject to...abuse, or to use abusive language.” (Webster’s). This practice in no way brings harmony, peace or joy. Why would a person abuse themselves over and over again? This can occur when we are operating from a sense of bondage. The first chapter of “Lessons in Truth” is titled “Bondage or Liberty, Which?” If God’s Will is for harmony, peace, and joy, why don’t we continually experience these things? “And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt...” Exodus 3:7 KJV. Egypt represents the “darkness of ignorance.” Ignorance is “lacking knowledge or comprehension (understanding).” (Webster’s) There is a saying that ignorance is bliss, but I can assure you that it is not. Ignorance of the law is not protection. Ignorance causes suffering. “Everything that is in our life had its beginning in our mind. (Lessons in Truth) ...” every human being must come to himself. Having tired of eating husks, he will “arise and go to my Father” Luke 15:18.” (Lessons in Truth). We revile ourselves when we are not thinking righteously or rightly. To free ourselves we must “watch every thought and base every thought on Truth.” (Lessons in Truth). We must Arise Divine Ones...and come to ourselves...Arise by abiding in the Presence. Arise so that we can experience the Will of God for us...harmony, peace, and joy! Divine Ones, as we do this...we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
