If you know...then faithfully do

“If you know these things, you are blessed if you put them into practice [and faithfully do them].” John 13:17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 6th Beatitude, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8. Our passage today speaks of knowing and doing. Let’s break it down! We said yesterday that “it is not sufficient for us to accept the Truth with the conscious mind only. At that stage, it is still a mere opinion.” The Intellect is a part of the conscious mind. The Intellect is “the power or faculty of knowing” (Webster). (The) Intellect is not wise. Wisdom is not its office...(The) Intellect follows the letter of the law.” (Revealing Word). “What is born from the outside, or intellectual perception reaches only the intellect...The Intellect...when it’s information is based on the evidence of the senses and not on the true thoughts of the Divine Mind, it is very fallible and full of error. Intellect argues...Spirit takes the deep things of God and reveals Truth to man. One may be true, the other is always true. Spirit does not give opinions about Truth, it is Truth. (Lessons in Truth). In order to still or quiet the intellect, we must faithfully Practice the Presence of God through prayer and meditation and the Silence. If you know these things blessed are you if you faithfully do them. If you know that the conscious mind feeds the subconscious mind then blessed are you when you pay attention to what your subconscious mind is being fed. If you know that your dominant thoughts determine your experiences, then blessed are you when you pay attention to your thoughts and change them if they are not producing what you want. “Most people, and learned people especially have all kinds of knowledge that does not in the least affect or improve their practical lives. Doctors know all about hygiene but often live in an unhealthy way...philosophers who are acquainted with... the wisdom of the ages, continue to do foolish things in their own personal lives. Knowledge such as this is only opinion or head knowledge. It has to become heart knowledge, or be incorporated into the subconscious before it can really change one.” (The Sermon on the Mount). Divine Ones, in order to become the pure in heart we must get out of our heads and change our hearts. In order to change, we must be faithful to the process. As we do this... we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
