Imagine

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...”

Genesis 1:26 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! This morning we are starting our journey with the power of Imagination. Imagination is defined as “the faculty (or power) of the mind that images and forms; the power to shape and form thought.” (Revealing Word). Let’s break it down.

When we think we think mainly in pictures. An image is formed in our mind and we see our thoughts. As children we used our power of imagination all of the time. We spent time daydreaming about all manner of things. We didn’t think about “how” what we imaged would come about, we just held on to the image. We used the power of Faith, the power of expectation and produced in the visible what we saw in the invisible and that was that. Think about wanting a certain gift for Christmas. You wanted a bike, a train, new clothes, a new doll. It never occurred to you that you wouldn’t get it. You wanted it and that was that. Most of the time you received what you asked for. Imagination still works in the same way. We can see into the invisible, we can form a picture of what we want in our minds. We can use the power of Faith to believe, to expect that we have received what we have imaged.

There is another step. We also have to feel the way we will feel when the image comes to life. The problem is we don’t take the time to picture our lives in this way. We spend our time thinking about what we don’t want, or reviewing the past over and over. We think about the state of our affairs the way they are now and the way they will stay if we don’t change the image because it is our dominant thought patterns that eventually show up in our life, world and affairs. In Genesis we find the following; “And the Lord said unto Abram...Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.”

Genesis 13:14-15 KJV.

All that you can see can be yours. Stop thinking about the how if it all and expect it to be so. So Divine Ones! We must LOOK up from the place where we are NOW and “SEE” something different, picture a new vision. “Thoughts become things” (Wallace Wattles). Our thoughts form pictures, if we hold the thoughts long enough, good and bad, they will manifest in our lives. That’s why I stress the importance of prayer and meditation. As we pray and meditate we expand and grow. As we use our power of imagination to see our desired good, as we form the mental picture, as we expect to receive what we see, we are working in the invisible realm, the spiritual realm. As we do this...WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow! 💕❤️💕❤️
