“in thy presence is fullness of joy...” Psalms 16:11 KJV
Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with The Fruit of the Spirit and planting Joy in our divine garden. Let’s break it down! In order to experience Joy we must realize that “(God) in us is the fountain out of which springs all our good...God is the spring of all joy and comfort and power.” (Lessons in Truth). How do we access the fountain? How do we make contact with God? Through practicing the Presence, prayer, meditation and the Silence. How do we contact Joy? Through practicing the Presence through prayer, meditation and the Silence. Our passage reads “in thy presence is fullness of joy...”. So get in the Presence! Prayer is “communion between God and man” (Revealing Word). When you are communing with God, ask that the joy of the Lord be your strength. When you are communing with God ask for thoughts of Joy, ask for feelings of joy. Declare that your day IS joyous. “You have not because you ask not.” James 4:2. So ask! Deny the belief that it’s not possible to be joyous. Affirm that Joy is flooding your day. “Joy and gladness are strength giving, especially if the mind is fixed on the things of Spirit.” (Revealing Word). What is your mind fixed (firmly set) on? Love, Joy? Frustration, fear? Are you fixed on thoughts that will/can bring a sense of Joy? We planted Love so there should be harmony in our divine garden. Now we’re planting Joy. Examine your thoughts and feelings and if you find something other than Love and Joy springing from your fountain, you have the power, change it! Be thankful that you can change. Be thankful that you can ask! “Ask and it shall be given...” Matthew 7:7. So Divine Ones plant Joy today and care for the new Love we planted in our divine garden. Practice the Presence and feel the fullness of Joy. Do this and watch... what... happens! More tomorrow! ❤️💖💖💜
