“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged...”
Matthew 7:1-2 KJV
Good morning Divine Ones! Today we are continuing our journey through the power of Judgement.
Judgement has a very special quality. Let’s break it down. It takes a period of time for our powers of Faith and Strength to develop. The power of Judgement, however, “has rapid fire action. Making judgments is (actually) instantaneous” (Twelve Gifts). The effect on our consciousness is instantaneous as well.
In Matthew 7:1, Jesus warns us of this “Judge not lest ye be judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged.” The Amplified version states it in this way “Do not judge and criticize and condemn (others unfairly...as though assuming the office of a judge). 😱😱.
Now this next part made me pay close attention “Don’t be too quick to judge someone negatively, because you are judging yourself.” (Twelve Gifts). Well now THAT is definitely something to think about. Our power of judgement is showing us something about ourselves. The behavior of others may be mirroring something in us. 😱😱. We can move from this space of negativity if we take an honest look at ourselves. Check out the emotions that were and are present and see what they are saying (so to speak). We can move beyond negative thoughts and emotions and be “transformed by the renewing of our minds” if we are willing to take an honest look at ourselves. I know, I know this can be quite challenging but, it is a very necessary part of spiritual growth.
We can KNOW the Truth, but it can only set us free if we are willing to face the truth about ourselves and do the work to change. Facing our judgments helps us to develop our power of Faith and Strength. Faith remember is the substance of things hoped for....hope is expectation. Whatever we are judging negatively we can expect to show up in our consciousness and eventually our experiences. What we judge positively we can expect to show up in our consciousness and eventually in our experiences. Choose you this day! Our judgments reveal more about us than we realize. We can use our power of Strength which is quietness and confidence, steadfastness. Use Strength to be be still and confident in changing negative judgments.
So Divine Ones! Let’s watch what we judge and how we judge ourselves and others. Let’s use Judgement in a positive way. Expect good...judge everything in our lives good...use Faith and Strength to steadfastly draw good. As we do this WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow! ❤️💜
