Keep the Truth the Truth

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty...”

Zephaniah‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 7th Commandment, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Exodus 20:14. Our passage today speaks of the Lord in the midst of us being mighty. Let’s break it down! Adultery, in our lessons , is the adulteration of Truth. We are seeing God and something else instead of just God. There are examples of this throughout the scriptures. For example, “It could be said...that Judas was an adulterer because he did not see the spiritual depth in Jesus. He confused the Christ idea with temporal authority and material rewards. Of course, Judas was not alone in this. Peter had that one radiant moment when he cried out: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Mt. 16: 16). However, he was soon back in adultery as he denied three times that he had even heard of the man, Jesus.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). When we see less than the Christ in others as well as in ourselves, we are committing adultery. Seeing less than the Truth takes us back to or keeps us in, a state of bondage. The title of the first chapter of the book “Lessons in Truth” asks the question, bondage or liberty, which? Do we want to be free or do we want to suffer? In order to stop being an adulterer of the Truth, we must be focused, confident and consistent in our thinking. ““Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:”. Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:4‬ ‭KJV. In order to change and come to an understanding that the Lord our God IS One God, we must practice the Presence through prayer, meditation and sitting in the Silence. As we practice the Presence, we come to “divine or spiritual understanding wherein (we) know that (we) are one with the Father, and (then we become) free from all suffering, because (we realize that we have) conscious dominion over all things. ‬‬(Lessons in Truth). “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, (God) may give it you.” John‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Did you hear that? We can have it all! Divine Ones, we must stop adulterating or diluting the Truth. We have the mighty One in the midst of us. “...greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭KJV Divine Ones, know this, work to understand this above all else. As we do this, we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
