“I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:2-3 KJV
Good morning Divine Ones! We are reviewing the 1st Commandment today. The first commandment is about oneness. This commandment is about having a larger view of God. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:”. Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV. “THE ONE! It is the basic unity on which all things are built. The ancients wisely directed people to behold but one in all things, for it is the second that leads one astray. To have no other gods before THE ONE is to have the awareness of the ALLNESS of God.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). All of the universe has its existence IN the ALLNESS God. “God is the ALLNESS, all that exists, exist as manifestations.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). We are to behold ONE in all things. One! Not God and... Good and evil. Poverty and Prosperity. Sickness and health. We must have single eye focus. “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22 KJV. Don’t have double vision. Ask yourself what is my point of focus? “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”. James 1:8 KJV. Am I being double-minded or am I practicing single eye focus? Everything is in God. You, me, your hone, your car, your world. We make gods all of the time. Do we believe in God or FROM the ALLNESS of God? “Human problems are not in God, but in our limited awareness of God. We need to do more than say we believe in God. We must “live, move and have our being from the consciousness of God. From the Christ consciousness. That is the consciousness, the awareness that “The Father and I are ONE!” How do get there? Through prayer and meditation and the Silence. We get there by “watching every thought and basing our every thought on Truth...” (Lessons in Truth). We get there by understanding our oneness with THE ONE. “The first commandment begins with “I AM”. I AM is spiritual identity, the real or Christ Mind of each individual... God is I AM...man (The offspring of God) is I AM as well. I AM is the indwelling Lord” (Revealing Word). You are one with this indwelling Lord. Always be aware of what you are connecting to your “I AM”. We are ONE with the Lord of our being. Say to yourself over and over and over again, “God is the ONE and I AM one with the ONE!” Divine Ones, behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day. Have no other gods before the ONE! Do this, Divine Ones, and watch... what... happens! Tomorrow we begin the 2nd commandment, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image...”.
