“Behold, I stand at the door and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me.”
Revelation 3:20 AMP
Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 6th Commandment, “Thou shalt not kill.” Our passage today speaks of the Spirit within continually knocking waiting for us to open the door. Let’s break it down! The 6th Commandment not only applies to what we may do to others, it applies to what we do to ourselves as well. “and “A man’s enemies will be those of his own household.” Matthew 10:36 AMP. Our household is our mind. Our thoughts are the members of our own household and they become our enemies when we do not control them. Remember “the person who is always angry at the world is really angry within and at himself...he is acting out of paranoia, and the problems and the”supposed enemies” are essentially the creation of their own imagination. There are people who start lashing out at the world as soon as they get up in the morning … and they keep the battle going all day long. First, they grumble about the weather, ...find fault with their wives, husbands, children or in-laws. On their way to work they push and shove on buses, subways and commuter trains … or lean on their horns in the continuous traffic jams. In conversation they complain about the high cost of living...And through it all there are many violent thoughts, such as, “That just kills me” and “I could kill him” … and so very much of the kind of anger that Jesus said is breaking the sixth commandment.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). All of this is the result of thinking that something outside of them has power over them. We hurt ourselves when we work with “two-ness” instead of Oneness. Nothing can hurt you unless you give it the power to do so, “except that you give it entrance into your mind”. Here it becomes self-destructive and emotionally, physically and even financially frustrating. Remember, it is your mind. If it happens in you, it is due to your reaction.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). We are sons of God, and as sons of God we have responsibilities to uphold. They are right thinking , right feelings, right words, right actions and right reactions. We have been given supreme authority to do this and more. When we don’t exercise our supreme authority we suffer. What is the remedy? The remedy for suffering is to realize that we are spiritual beings. Watch every thought and base every thought on Truth.” Answer the knock that you hear at the door of your mind, your house. The Spirit within is always speaking to us. We just have to be still and quiet our minds in order to hear. Answer the door through abiding in the Presence of God. Divine Ones answer the door and watch... what... happens! More tomorrow!❤️❤️❤️❤️
