Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 7th Beatitude, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Matthew 5:9. Our passage today speaks of being kept in perfect peace. Let’s break it down! Peace is “Harmony and tranquility derived from an awareness of the Christ consciousness.” (Revealing Word). The Christ is “the living Principal working in man. The Christ abides in each person as his divine potential. (Revealing Word). Webster’s defines Peace as “freedom from disquieting or oppressive and thoughts or emotions.” We can have harmony and tranquility as we become aware of and focus on the Christ consciousness within us. We can attain a sense of peace when we are focused on the One real Presence and Power. How do we focus on the One real Presence and Power? Through prayer and meditation. Communing with the One brings a sense of peace. We can affirm peace for ourselves As we affirm peace, the Christ consciousness within us becomes more prominent in our daily living. Affirm “the peace that passes all human understanding is now mine. I move in peace. I work in peace. I am focused on the One and peace enfolds me. I trust in the One. I am so happy and grateful that this is so.” A peacemaker is “One who has the ability to say “peace” to the turbulent waves of thought and have them obey.” (Revealing Word). Divine Ones speak peace to your thoughts. Speak peace to your feelings. Speak and your thoughts and feelings will obey. This is the beginning of becoming a peacemaker. Are you in?
