Peacefully become new...

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 7th Beatitude, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Our passage today speaks of being made anew. Let’s break it down! Peacemakers “are those who make or bring about true serenity and peace in their own souls...” (The Sermon on the Mount). In order to bring about true serenity and peace in our own souls, we must “dwell continually in the consciousness of (the) Christ to the point of realization of unity with the Father and Son.” (Revealing Word). Jesus in John 10:30 said, “I and my Father are one.” Jesus constantly acknowledged this Truth. We must do the same. “Jesus is the name that represents an individual expression of the Christ idea. Christ existed long before Jesus. It was the Christ Mind in Jesus that exclaimed “And now Father glorify thou me with thine own self...Christ abides in each person as his divine perfection.” (Revealing Word). As we pray, meditate, contemplate, bask in, acknowledge and live from, the consciousness that the Father and I are one, we become new creatures. As we allow this Truth to fill us, we become new creatures. As we become new creatures we experience peace and harmony, we bring about true serenity in our own souls. And that is what this is about. For this transformation to take place we must Practice the Presence. We must commune with God from the innermost part of our being, the Secret Place. We can make prayer our focus during the course of our day, but we should also take time to dwell in the Secret Place and become new creatures. To dwell is “to remain for a time, keep the attention directed” (Webster’s). As we do this, as we focus on the One, old things are passed away. We begin to think differently, feel differently, speak differently. We start to “know” in the true sense of the word. A sense of Peace fills us full. Divine Ones, we are Peacemakers. We are bringing true serenity and peace to our own souls. Divine Ones, as we do this...we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
