Righteousness... watch and pray...

“Take ye heed, watch and pray...”. Mark 13:33 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 8th Beatitude, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10. Our passage today speaks of watching and praying. Let’s break it down! In order for us to overcome the pull of our lower selves, lower thoughts, low feelings we must “take heed or pay attention to what we are thinking and feeling. Yesterday we said that “the Will of God for us is harmony, peace, and joy, and these things are to be obtained by cultivating right thoughts or “righteousness”. (The Sermon on the Mount). If we are not experiencing the Will of God it is because we are not thinking correctly or righteously. If we are not thinking rightly we suffer. “The primary cause of suffering is forgetfulness of our divine nature as a son of God and as a spiritual being. We have forgotten that as spiritual beings we have dominion over our thoughts and feelings. We have forgotten that it is NOT God’s Will for us to suffer.” (Lessons in Truth). We discussed the fact that it is the desire to be free from adversity (troubles) that turn us to God. As we turn away from the old ways of thinking and feeling our lower selves fight back. “The unrighteous thoughts, that at first don’t want to give up, let go. They seem to say “I’ve lived here for a while and I’m not going!” (The Sermon on the Mount). So what do we do? We make a decision and take action. “Adversity is the result of our wrong use of our thoughts, feelings, words, actions, and reactions. We cannot run away from adversity but we can change our wrong beliefs...” (Lessons in Truth). To change our beliefs about situations and circumstances we use our cleansing tool of denial. “Denial is the mental process of erasing from consciousness the false beliefs of the sense mind. Denial clears away belief in evil as reality and thus makes room for the establishment of Truth.” (Revealing Word). To establish the Truth we use our tool of affirmation. “An affirmation is “a positive statement of Truth...to affirm is to hold steadfast in mind or to speak aloud a statement of Truth.” (Revealing Word). As we do this we must take heed (pay attention), watch (our thoughts and feelings) and pray (commune with God). Divine Ones deny any beliefs that no longer serve you. Deny lack and limitation, it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Deny any belief that says you cannot have the kingdom. Affirm Truth, My a Father and I are one; all that the Father has is mine. Divine Ones take heed, watch and pray. Do this and watch... what... happens! More tomorrow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
