Slay to Change...

And it came to pass when Moses was grown...that he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew...and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand. Exodus 2:11-12

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 9th Beatitude, “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”

Matthew 5:11 KJV. Our passage today speaks of slaying the Egypt. Let’s break it down! The life of Moses “is the story of every man in his journey out of self-imposed bondage into the freedom of a life that is lived as a son of God.” (The Hidden Mystery).

The life of Moses is told in three parts. “We all start out in Egypt, the bondage to our physical environment.” (The Hidden Mystery). We may find security, and we may find wealth, but sooner or later we feel the desire to escape. “The first step is the killing of the Egyptian, the thought of bondage. This is the erasing of the thought that tends to enslave.” (The Hidden Mystery). Divine Ones, what are you in bondage to? Are you in bondage to thoughts of lack and limitation? Are you someone who thinks that you cannot receive abundance? When you see someone who is wealthy do you immediately think that they did something wicked or illegal to obtain their wealth? Are you in bondage in terms of relationships? Do you think that you have to have this person or that person in your life, even though you are unhappy? Are you in bondage in terms of the way that you think of your own abilities? Do you think that you can’t have a successful business or get a higher paying position because you lack the proper education or contacts? This is stinkin’ thinkin’ and it needs to be eradicated immediately. These are troublesome thoughts and they can only bring more trouble. You must kill the Egyptian and stop persecuting and abusing yourself. You must erase these thoughts that tend to enslave. You must erase the thoughts that cause persecution and reviling. “After this step is taken there is no longer any security in the land of bondage. Moses... must take a stand and move out of that bondage toward freedom.” (The Hidden Mystery). Divine Ones we must move from bondage to liberty and continue the journey. “Once you put your hand to the plough there is no turning back.” Luke 9:62. Divine Ones, kill the thoughts of bondage and move forward towards liberty. As we do this... we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! ❤️🧡❤️🧡
