Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the Fruit of the Spirit and planting Gentleness in our divine garden today. Our passage speaks of a gentle tongue breaking resistance. Let's break it down! I've heard it said that you can get more with sugar than vinegar. This is certainly true. You can get people to do almost anything for you if you treat them well. Treating them well includes speaking life to them and not destruction. If you are a leader of people, as a parent, a care giver, etc. it's important that you speak gently most of the time. I do understand that there are times when a few choice words may be needed, but, we shouldn't make a habit of speaking to people as if they don't matter. For example, If we speak to our children in ways that make them feel insignificant they can become fearful and skittish which affects them in ways that you cannot see. "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable and pleasing in your sight, O Lord..." Psalm 19:14 If our words are acceptable to the One, then we can rest assured we are putting Gentleness to work in our lives. "Be Gentle unto all men..." 2Timothy 2:24. Now don't forget to continue to nurture the young seedlings we have already planted in our divine garden, Love, Peace, Joy and Patient Endurance. Divine Ones as we let our words be acceptable unto God, as we come to realize that we are an inlet AND can be an outlet of all that God is...as we practice being Gentle with all men...well Divine Ones...we are saved from ourselves!
