Understanding
“Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.” Proverbs 3:13 KJV
Good morning Divine Ones! Today we begin our journey with the power or faculty of Understanding. Our focus is Spiritual Understanding.
The scripture states happy is the man that finds wisdom and the man that gets understanding. Let’s break it down. On a daily basis we work to understand people and situations and experiences in our world. We try to make sense of why people do what they do. We try to understand why things are the way that they are. Why did this work out this way and not that way? This phase of understanding is intellectual understanding and comes through our conscious mind. The conscious mind is the mind “where one is aware of one’s thoughts.” (Revealing Word).
The level of understanding that transcends or goes beyond our conscious mind is Spiritual Understanding. That is understanding that is based on spiritual discernment. This level is the one talked about by Jesus when he said “...But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit...will teach you all things...and help you remember everything that I have told you.” John 14:26 AMP. How do we gain access to The Comforter, to The Holy Spirit at a level where we know that we know what we know? How do we become more spiritually discerning? We gain access to the Comforter at a higher level through prayer, meditation and sitting in the Silence. This time is necessary so that we come to the realization that “I and the Father are One (in essence and nature).” John 10:30. “Every man must take time daily for quiet and meditation. Daily meditation with God focuses the divine presence within us and brings it to our consciousness.” (Lessons in Truth).
We can read books and take classes that teach us about God. We can read these messages everyday and learn about God. But each must learn to stand before his God alone. “Every knee shall bow to me , and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11 KJV. EVERYONE must take the time to go apart and rest a while, if they seek spiritual understanding, for this is the secret of true power. Standing alone with God strengthens our relationship WITH GOD and then we begin to KNOW God for ourselves. That is the way, walk ye in it.
So Divine Ones once again we see that the action required of us is to “come apart and rest a while”. Come apart from the outside world and go to our inner chamber. Divine Ones as we do this, as we make time to be silent and quiet...WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow! 💕💗
