Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the Fruit of the Spirit and planting Goodness in our divine garden today. Our passage speaks of our having already tasted the Goodness of God. Let’s break it down! I’m sure that we can look back and see that we have experienced Goodness in our lives. I myself can identify times when the only explanation for things working out is that there was some supernatural stuff going on. You know, the check in the mail you didn’t expect. The car problems that could have left you stranded somewhere but didn’t. The individual who showed up in your life with the very thing you needed. All examples of supernatural Goodness. Let’s look at someone who received God’s Goodness no matter what. In 1 Chronicles 17:26, we find David (beloved) expressing gratitude to God for the Goodness he had received. He talked about his people, his house and all of the good and great things that had been done and all that was promised to come. Goodness was promised no matter what. Even when David did things that were not too good he received Goodness. David was successful in war, abundantly wealthy, respected and powerful. Let us look at our lives today and see that we have already received the Goodness of God. See the Goodness that is in our lives. The people, the houses, the wealth. See the Goodness and give thanks for what we have received and for what is to come. Declare that Goodness is present and operational. Divine Ones...see Goodness everywhere.
