Good morning Divine Ones! Today we begin a journey with the book “The Game of Life” by Florence Scovel Shinn. The author begins by stating “Most people consider life a battle, but it’s not a battle, it’s a game.” In order to play the game successfully we must know the rules. The rules are based on spiritual laws.
So consider this, Life is a great game of Giving and Receiving. “...whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7. Which means that whatever we send out whether in thoughts, spoken word or actions will over time return to us. It is for this reason that we must “keep our hearts with all diligence ...” One of the powers that we can use is our power of imagination.
Our Imagination is the power to image and form; our power to shape and form thought. We train our minds to image only good and bring into our lives every righteous desire of our hearts. The imagination is also called “the scissors of the mind”. “It is always cutting and cutting, day by day the pictures that man sees...sooner or later he meets his own creations in his outer world.” (The Game of Life). This is a process. Training our minds is the key and in order to train our minds, we must get to know them better.
Tomorrow we will review the three phases of mind; the Superconscious, the Conscious and Subconscious. Divine Ones as we learn how our minds work...as we use our power of Imagination to image every righteous desire of our hearts...well WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow! 💜💗💕
