The Heart thinks...

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...”. Proverbs 23:7

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 3rd Beatitude, “Blessed are the Meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” Our passage today says as a man thinketh in his heart... Let’s break it down! Thinking is “the formulating process of the mind.” (Revealing Word). Thinking is “the action of using one’s mind to produce thoughts.” (Webster’s). “It is through thinking that man forms that which he has in his life.” (Lessons in Truth). “The word heart represents the subconscious mind.” (Revealing Word). The subconscious mind is “the memory mind. It is the storehouse of our past thoughts and experiences.” (Revealing Word). We don’t know what is in our subconscious mind until it shows up. The conscious mind is “...that phase of mind where one is actively aware of one’s thoughts.” (Revealing Word). “The thoughts of the conscious mind are instructions to the subconscious mind, which carries them out ...” (Lessons in Truth). So do you see why it is important to understand that we must be careful of what we think? As we think in our subconscious mind so are we. Whew!!! Yesterday’s message mentioned in the definition of meekness that we must be open-minded. We said that Meekness is a mental attitude, a mental position. Being open-minded is “being willing to be taught new things”. (The Sermon on the Mount). The author of “The Sermon on the Mount” uses Moses as an example of Meekness. “Moses had an open mind, (was) ready to be taught new things and new ways of thinking and working.” (The Sermon on the Mount). Does this describe you Divine One? Is your mind open or closed? Are you willing to accept new ways of thinking and working? What are you feeding your subconscious mind, you’re heart? Take a look. More tomorrow! 🧡❤️💜
