Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 3rd Beatitude, “Blessed are the Meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” Our passage speaks to the fullness of Joy. Let’s break it down! In defining Meekness the author of “The Sermon on the Mount” says that “Meekness is a mental attitude. It is a combination of open-mindedness, Faith in God and the realization that the Will of God for us is always something joyous and interesting and vital, and much better than anything that we could think of for ourselves.” “God’s will is always perfection and all good..the belief that God wills both good and evil is false...” (The Sermon on the Mount). Sometimes when things happen you may hear people say that God is testing them. This does not line up with the Will of God. God’s Will for us is always something joyous. God’s Will for us is joy and perfection, absolute good. So if we are thinking anything else we must repent (change). We must be open-minded, have Faith in a God, as well as remember that God’s Will for us is Joy, the fullness of Joy. In order for us to inherit the earth, we must develop an attitude of Meekness. We must join The Meek Club. If our current way of thinking is not helping us to be Meek, we need to make some changes. Ask yourself what is keeping you from developing Meekness and inheriting your earth? If you have beliefs that are not aligned with being Meek change them! You have the power! Use your tools of Denials and Affirmations. Deny false beliefs and affirm the truth. “God’s will for me is for me to be joyous. God’s Will for me is for me to inherit my earth. God’s Will for me is the fullness of Joy. Period!” So Divine Ones, God’s Will for us is for us to live joyfully. We must be open-minded, have Faith and live joyously.
