The ONE...

“I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:2-3 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 1st Commandment as stated above. Let’s break it down! This first commandment is the most important. “If we look at this commandment from the view of religious tradition...our mind runs to billowy clouds, a regal throne, a majestic figure with a long white beard and a booming voice...” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). Unless we can let go of this concept and break open the hidden meaning of this first commandment, we are lost before we start. “Do you believe in God? Or do you think that by saying you believe in God you really believe?...to believe in God is to have a sense of the wholeness of life and the universe, which...gives rise to a believing attitude.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” Deuteronomy 6:4-5 KJV. This scripture is the most important one that Jewish children are taught. “It has always been the confession of Faith among the Jews. It is the lovely Shema, which contains insight which is vital to understanding the first commandment: THE ONE. It is the basic unity on which ALL things are built.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). We are to behold ONE in all things. It is beholding the second thing that usually gets us into trouble. You know good AND evil. Health AND sickness. Prosperity AND poverty. This goes back to having “single eye focus”. “...if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22 KJV. Divine Ones are we seeing double or single? What is our point of focus? Is it just THE ONE or God and...? Concentrate on the ONE. Say to yourself over and over today, “God is THE ONE and I am one with THE ONE.” Remember “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8 KJV. Think on the ONE. Do this and watch... what... happens! More tomorrow! ❤️ 🧡 ❤️🧡
