Good morning Divine Ones! Today we begin a marvelous journey with “The Secret Door to Success” by Florence Scovel Shinn.
The passage today speaks to the walls of Jericho falling down. Let’s break it down!
First let’s define success. Success is obtaining a “favorable or desired outcome...” (Webster’s). Everyone wants to be successful in life. Millions of books have been written on the subject. “For each man there is success, but it seems to be behind a door or a wall.” (The Secret Door to Success”
Jericho was the first city that the Israelites conquered after crossing into the Promised Land. There was a wall around the city of Jericho that the people didn’t think could be crossed. Jericho represents the intellect which must be overcome in our quest for success. The intellect looks at life from our five senses and is a wall separating us from the wonders of living from the Infinite power within. We must develop and maintain an attitude of success and keep it fixed in our consciousness at all times. The intellect says “it cannot be done” but the Infinite says “it is done as you believe”.
“Choose you this day whom you will serve...” Joshua 24:15. Will you serve the limitations of the intellect or the limitless power of the Infinite? Will you choose to begin to obtain the results that you desire? The choice is ours. The people marched around the walls of Jericho and gave a great shout and the walls came tumbling down.
Shout “Success is mine now!” Shout “What has been done for others is done for me now and more!” Shout “I expect success and success comes to pass now!” Shout and cause the walls of your Jericho, the doubts, fears, limits, disbelief to come tumbling down. Walk into your Promised Land of success through the door of limitless possibilities. Divine Ones as we do this... we open the secret door... AND WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow!! 💜💗💜💗
