Understanding -Discernment

“Then Jesus answered him, “Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, favored by God] are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood (mortal man) did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” MATTHEW 16:17 AMP

Good morning Divine Ones! We are continuing our journey with the power of Understanding. The scripture refers to Spiritual Understanding.

Jesus had sent the disciples out into the town of Caesarea. He asked them on their return “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” After receiving their answers he asked the more important question “But who do you say that I am?” Peter replied “You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of the living God.” Jesus told him that “flesh and blood (mortal man) had not revealed that to you, but my Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 16:18.

Spiritual Understanding reveals to us the key things of life. Spiritual Understanding will teach us all things. For example, becoming a choir director when you don’t read music. Having the answers needed when you didn’t study for the test. Intuitively knowing what is needed for a particular situation. Feeling your loved one’s needs before they voice them. Spiritual revelation comes to the consciousness of a person. Spiritual understanding allows us to know within ourselves that the joy, wisdom and all that we need is already within us. We expand our awareness, our consciousness through prayer, meditation and sitting in the Silence.

“All the teachings of Jesus were for the purpose of leading men into a consciousness of oneness with the (One).” (Lessons in Truth). The consciousness of oneness, of spiritual knowing is as important today as it was in Jesus’ time. Working from intuition is more profitable to us than intellectual knowledge. Learning to live from the within is key. Life is lived from the within out and not without in. External forces are no match for the Spirit within.

So Divine Ones Prayer, meditation and the Silence are key to the development of our spiritual understanding and growth. Let us develop that daily practice, the daily habit of becoming still and receiving the power needed to run to the finish line. As we do this WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow!!! ❤️💗💕
