What is your idea of God?

For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective] ...” Hebrews 4:12 AMP

Good morning Divine Ones! We are working with the 3rd Commandment, “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.” Exodus 20:7. Our passage today speaks to the word of God living, being active and full of power. Let’s break it down! “The real name of God for you is your idea of God; not mine, not the one your mother and father taught you, not the local minister’s idea, but your own honest and real idea of God.” (The Ten Commandments: The Master Key to Life). Whatever ideas you really have about God, THAT is the name of God for you, and it does have an effect on you. “...you cannot escape from the result of your idea of God, and whatever your idea of God is, WILL affect your life in every way. There is no getting away from it.” (The Ten Commandments: The Master Key to Life). For example, if you say “I believe that God is testing me”, then you cannot take the name of the Lord your God in vain, and you will continue to draw situations and circumstances that are testing in nature. “People who think that God sends sickness and trouble really believe in a God Who is not good. If you believe in a God Who has all intelligence, all power, but a God Who is not loving, Who is not good, then that is your idea of the nature of God, and it can’t be in vain for you. It must work out.” (The Ten Commandments: The Master Key to Life). The word of God is active and full of power. Making it operative, energizing and effective. Things must work out based on what you believe. It must work based on your real belief, not what you say you believe, but, your REAL beliefs. Some may believe that God can do this but not that. God Can heal my body but not my business. God can heal my child but not this court case. “...whatever idea you really believe in, that is what will be expressed in your life. (If you believe in a limited God) A limited God will be limited; a cruel God will react on you cruelly and without love. (The Ten Commandments: The Master Key to Life). Divine Ones, what do you really, really believe? Look around, check out your life, it is being revealed to you. If you don’t like what you see, if you don’t like what you’re experiencing; change your mind. As we do this...well... we are saved from ourselves! More tomorrow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
