What's the name of God for you?

“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.” Exodus 20:7 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are reviewing the 3rd Commandment today. Let’s break it down! “The word vain is a mistranslation. The Aramaic root word is “dagalootha” and means “in falsehood”. Thus the commandment should read “You should not take the name of the Lord your God falsely. In other words, the divine name is the great positive, and it should never be used in ways that are negative.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). This means that we MUST pay close attention to the words that we speak, at all times. Every word counts. “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” Matthew 12:36 KJV. The day of judgment is now. “What you voice in words reflects a state of consciousness.” (Breaking the Ten Commandments). Our words are living and active and full of power and they do not return to us void. So what is the name of God for you? “The real name of God for you is your idea of God; not mine, not the one your mother and father taught you, not your minister’s idea, but your own honest and real idea of God. Whatever ideas you really have about God, THAT is the name of God for you, and it does have an effect on you...it WILL affect your life in every way.” (The Ten Commandments: The Master Key to Life). You cannot escape, cannot get away from it. If you say that you are being tested, then you cannot take the name of the Lord your God in vain and you will continue to draw situations and circumstances that are testing in nature. If you believe that God brings sickness and troubles, then you cannot take the name of the Lord your God in vain, and sickness and trouble will be your experience. We will experience whatever our idea of God is. It’s not God’s fault. “For I the Lord do not change...” Malachi 3:6. How can we change our concept, our idea of God? We can use our cleansing tools of denials and affirmations. We can deny any belief that is not the Truth about God. If you believe that God brings sickness and troubles. Deny, deny, deny! Then affirm the Truth “I am made in the image and likeness of an invisible, invincible God. All that is true of God is already true of me. Because I believe this, all things are always possible unto me.” Divine Ones, as your idea of God, changes and is based on Truth, positive change will be reflected in your thoughts, feelings, words, actions, and reactions. We have dominion in all things. Get the results of the God that you really, really want. As you do this “your conditions will improve. You will go from strength to strength. Your health, your surroundings, and your understanding will increase and multiply until “the daybreak and the shadows flee away” altogether—because you cannot take the name of the Lord your God in vain.” (The Ten Commandments: The Master Key to Life). Divine Ones, as we do this... we are saved from ourselves! Tomorrow we begin the 4th Commandment, “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” Exodus 20:8 KJV. More tomorrow! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
