Will

“...nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! Today we are beginning our journey with the power of Will. The Will is defined as “The executive faculty (power) of the mind; the directive power that determines character formation.” (Revealing Word). Let’s break it down.

Through the power of our Will, we determine what happens in our lives. What we “Will” or decree comes to pass in our life experiences. “Thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee.” Job 22:28 KJV. We use the power of our “Will” to build or form our character as well. We can use our power of Will to exercise or “do” the Will of God, or we can “DO” the exact opposite. “If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season...” Leviticus 26:3 KJV. What is the Will of God? “The Will of God is ALWAYS perfection and all good... The belief that God Wills both good and evil is false... If man experiences error and inharmony, he brings them on himself by his failure to harmonize his thoughts, words, and acts with the Lord or divine law. (Revealing Word). So when we choose to walk in the consciousness of harmony and good and very good we receive good and very good experiences.

Another thing to remember is there is ALWAYS action required on our part. Meaning, “no matter how well you understand spiritual laws, if you’re not willing to adhere to them, they are not useful to you. (Twelve Gifts). I like to think of our power of Will as being the guardian at the gate our minds. It helps us to determine what gets into our consciousness and what does not. We do have a choice in the matter. Will works with Intuition. Once we receive the yes or no feelings we use our Will to move forward to the next steps. In the formation of our character we can either choose to practice being Willingness or Willfulness. More on that in tomorrows message.

So Divine Ones our power of Will is vitally important. It is our directing power, the executive power of the mind. It is used alongside intuition to make decisions. We Will ourselves in the direction of the Will of God (Good) or in the opposite direction (not so good). The choice is ours. All of our powers or faculties work together. As we learn how to exercise our power of Will from THE power, the One true power within, through prayer and meditation and sitting in the Silence...WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow! ❤️💕💗
