Willing to Plug in?

“...Father, if thou be willing, ... nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42 KJV

Good morning Divine Ones! We are continuing our journey with our power of Will. The scripture for today was used by someone recently in a way that I totally disagreed with.

They said that it was God’s Will for us to suffer as God made Jesus suffer in the garden. I strongly disagreed. Jesus questioned the task before him. I think we all would have experienced some suffering if we knew that THAT task was before us. He quickly came to himself and said “...not my will but thine be done.” Luke 22:42.

He could come to that conclusion because he Willed it. I think it’s sometimes easier for people to make God the cause of some of their issues because then the responsibility rests elsewhere and not with us. “This is using God as a scapegoat. Pain and suffering are results of man breaking the law of his own highest good.” (Twelve Gifts). If we choose not to work with spiritual laws, with spiritual power, with spiritual guidance, we are being WILLFUL and will find ourselves in conditions not to our liking. God’s Will for man is absolute good and very good. Period! If we don’t prepare to receive God’s goodness it’s not God’s fault. God is Spirit and operates in the same way all of the time. Spiritual Law is Spiritual Law. For example, if we choose to climb a mountain and are not prepared and have an accident, Spirit, God did not Will you to have an accident you were not prepared for the climb. God is Spirit, not man who changes his mind at a moment’s notice.

God is constant, unchanging, the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. If not we would be in big trouble as we would have to determine Gods mood in the way we sometimes try to do with our family and friends. Consider the light bulb. We know it CAN give light but only If it’s in a lamp or something designed to make it light up. The bulb can be in the lamp but the lamp has to be plugged into a source of power. Sometimes our power is used in ways that are NOT for our highest good. We must become WILLING to plug into THE POWER. When we are Willing to plug into THE POWER our experiences reflect the WILL of God. Our power of Will is the director of our consciousness. Our power of Will stands at the gate of our mind and directs us in the right path if we are Willing.

So Divine Ones as we become more aware of our power, as we become more Willing and less Willful and allow God’s Will to work in and through us., work in our lives, worlds and affairs...WE ARE SAVED FROM OURSELVES! More tomorrow! 💕💕
