Good morning Divine Ones! Today we begin our journey with the power of Zeal or Enthusiasm. Zeal is intensity, enthusiasm, the inward fire of the soul that urges man onward.” (Revealing Word). Let’s break it down.
Zeal is necessary for forward movement and it must be based on spiritual understanding and not just intellectual understanding. Zeal or Enthusiasm gives us the power to move forward in excitement and with joy. When we are Enthusiastic about something we desire to see it through. We are excited, joyous, energetic. If we become over Zealous we can sometimes make decisions that are not for our highest good or for the highest good of others. We can become so sure of our course of action that we overlook or negate the opinions of others.
I had a conversation with someone yesterday that brought this to mind. For example, sometimes when people gain awareness of their spiritual power and have some success in changing their lives in some ways, they become excited, Enthusiastic, Zealous and want to share their experiences. There is absolutely nothing wrong with sharing. However, one must share in a way that allows the other person to evaluate and judge whether the new way could work for them as well. If in sharing the individual comes Zealously from the intellect only by acting as though their way IS the only way, and act from the perspective of “if you don’t see that my way is better you’re lost” then a line is crossed from Enthusiasm to being overly Zealous. Zeal can be tricky and must be worked with Love and good Judgement. If not used with Love and good Judgement an overly Zealous attitude can threaten our progress and eventually dampen our excitement. Not to mention that type of attitude can push people away and we certainly don’t want to do that. So Divine Ones we use our power of Zeal to be Enthusiastic and excited.
We use our power of Zeal to move forward on our journey to more successful tomorrows. Ignite the inward fire for greater power, greater growth, greater awareness. Be mindful and respectful of the opinions of others. Realize that we are spiritual beings living in a spiritual universe that is governed by spiritual laws that work for all. Be Zealous and Enthusiastic about expanding our awareness of our power within. Use Zeal and Love and good Judgement.
